Theorem

Theorem is a small Anglia Ruskin University publication. Put together and edited by Jane B., this book contains 7 essays by Cambridge School of Art Phd candidates, in which they describe and introduce their research.

My role in this project was to develop a typographical concept for this book that maintains a pleasant reading experience with high graphic quality. Challenging about this brief was the amount of contents combined with a limitation of pages and the scientific format of the essays. I have developed a uniform typographical style that was applicable to all essay formats, including footnotes, subheads and references while optimally using the given space without overloading the page, through a flexible layout solution.

Apart advising my collaborator on layout and typography, I was also involved in meetings with the printer, to discuss paper and binding choices.
